Welcome to the website of the Rhondda Symphony Orchestra. We are a long-standing and dynamic community orchestra serving the Valleys of South Wales. Formed in 1968 by Jeff Lloyd BEM, we regularly perform three concerts a year in early December, before Easter and early July, often in major venues such as Hoddinott Hall, St David’s Hall and the Porthcawl Pavilion.

We would welcome enquiries from interested string players, but we currently have no vacancies for woodwind or brass.
We rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7pm to 9pm in Y Pant School, Pontyclun, CF72 8YQ.
